Hongzhong Steel Plate Processing Co., Ltd. is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise invested by ITOCHU Corporation and ITOCHU Marubeni Steel Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation. The company was established in March 2005 and is located at No. 806 Gangshan Road, Jiaxing Economic Development Zone. At present, the total investment is 42.5 million US dollars, the registered capital is 17 million US dollars, and it covers an area of 96,000 square meters. It was officially put into operation in July 2006. The main production equipment has two steel plate slitting lines with a production capacity of 14,000 tons per month.
The company is mainly engaged in the processing and sales of cutting and rolling of steel plates and the distribution of various types of steel plates. The products are used in home appliances and high-strength, high-quality automotive industries.
